How to set up your audio interface and configure audio routing
Select KTPlayer's audio output device and configure track output routing to separate channels on your audio device.
Before you begin
Your audio device is connected to your Mac and recognized in System Settings > Sound.
Select your audio output device
- Open preferences from the menu bar: KTPlayer → Preferences. The Preferences window opens to the Devices tab.
- Select your audio device from the Output device dropdown menu.
- Click the red close button in the top-left corner of the window. The Preferences window closes, changes are applied automatically.
Configure track output routing to your audio device
- In the mixer section of the main interface, click on the 1 & 2 (for a mono track) or 1 | 2 (for a stereo track) at the top of any channel. A dropdown appears with your audio device's available outputs, grouped by Stereo output and Mono output.

- Repeat step 2 until all channels are routed to your desired audio device outputs.
Flexible routing
Audio routing is flexible, multiple channels can be routed to the same output if desired.
