How to trigger and stop cues
Fire the selected cue and stop playback during performance.
Before you begin
- A show file is loaded and activated.
- Your audio device is selected in Preferences > Devices.
Trigger commands
Each command can be triggered from the keyboard, a MIDI controller, a pedal, or any input assigned to it in Preferences > Assignments. The default keyboard shortcut is shown after each command.
| Command | Default key command | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Go | Space |
Fire the selected cue. The active cue title updates and audio plays through your audio device. |
| Stop | ⎋ |
Stop the active cue. Audio fades out over the duration set in Preferences > Behavior > Fade audio on STOP for. |
| Go (alternative) | (unassigned) | Second assignment for Go. |
| Stop (alternative) | (unassigned) | Second assignment for Stop. |
Why two bindings
Assigning Go (alternative) lets you set two separate MIDI assignments to Go. Both fire or stop the active cue. Set both up in Preferences > Assignments. Useful when you want both a button and a pedal triggering the same command.
Accidental double-fires
A second Go within the Prevent a second GO within window (default 100 ms) is ignored. Adjust this in Preferences > Behavior if needed.
