Adjusting and altering cues
The edit view lets you adjust a range of parameters per cue, but for all other changes, a custom show file from KeyboardTEK is required. This article explains what you can change yourself, and when to contact KeyboardTEK for a custom alteration.
What you can change yourself
Enter View → Edit Cuelist (⌘E ) to open edit view. The cuelist switches to a multi-column editable table. The columns KeyboardTEK leaves open to the MD are:
- Visible: hide cues you're not using in this run
- Color: visual grouping
- Tpo / Tpo %: tempo within ±33% of the original BPM
- Pitch: semitone transposition within ±7 semitones
- Play: repeat count, vamp, skip, or stop per cue
- Xfade: crossfade time between cues
- Q: quantisation override per cue

What needs an authoring change
Some customizations are not possible from inside the app and require KeyboardTEK to create a new show file. These include:
- Changing a cue number or cue name
- Adding or moving cues
- Any changes to LTC, or implementing new LTC when warping is necessary
- Custom pre-recorded vocals by your cast
- Structural changes beyond adding repeats and vamps
These all require a new .ktd file from KeyboardTEK.
Vamps loop between existing markers only
You can set a cue to vamp in edit view, but a vamp can only loop between two markers that already exist in the show file. Looping across a span with no markers needs a new .ktd from KeyboardTEK.
