Edit View
The Edit View is how you customize the KTPlayer show file to your production.
The Masthead, Mixer, and Timeline remain visible; the Cuelist switches into an editable, multi-column table.
Open via View → Edit Cuelist (⌘E ) or the Edit mode toggle in the Bottom bar.
Entering Edit View stops playback
Pressing Edit Cuelist while a cue is firing stops playback immediately. Playback cannot be started from the Edit View, return to the main interface to test edits.
Editable columns
The Name column remains visible from the main interface and is not editable. The Q column also carries over from the main interface but is editable in the Edit View (see Q below). All other columns below are editable.
Editing mechanics
- Double-click an entry to open an input field.
- Within an input, use
↑/↓to step between options. - You can type values directly (e.g. a BPM number, a percentage, or a play-state name).
- Right-click inside an input for: Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Select All, Step up, Step down.
- In every state list below, bold marks the default.

Typed input:
- Type any number, auto-corrects to

| Vamp | KTPlayer loops from this cue until the next cue. GO fires the next active cue, subject to the Q setting. The current cue colors blue; the next cue colors yellow. |
| Skip | The cue is skipped entirely during playback. Grayed out in the cuelist (both views) by default, not hidden. Can be hidden via Visible. |
| Stop | Playback stops at this cue. The playhead advances to the following cue; the next GO fires it. The cue colors red. |

What you can't edit in the Edit View
These are fixed by the show file and can't be changed here:
- Cue number
- Cue title
- Dividers (cannot be added or removed)
- Order of cues
